RVEI is one of the very few female majority owned elevator inspections companies in the USA. We are a family-owned company with THREE generations of elevator industry experience. In May of 2012 RVEI was founded by Derrick Noell after obtaining his QEI elevator inspector certification after 40 years of elevator installation and maintenance experience.
By October of 2012, Jennifer Noell, Derrick’s Daughter, joined the team to assist Derrick with managing the rapidly growing business. In May of 2013 Derrick suffered health complications, however, RVEI continued with a full-time inspector allowing Derrick to recover. Untimely Derrick retired to focus on his recovery and Jennifer, Derricks daughter, obtained her QEI certification to become the full-time inspector in 2018, growing the business after taking the reins.
Today RVEI has expended across Virginia, West Virginia and Federal properties along the east coast with 5 QEI Certified inspectors, administration support staff of 4 and over 4,000 elevators under contract!!
RVEI is certified in Virginia, West Virginia and QEI certified elevator inspectors offering test witnessing and consulting services. All our elevator inspectors are retired elevator technicians with CENTRIES of combined elevator industry experience.
